On April 17, Three of four occupations targeted were new additions to the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) updated on April 4. Breaking all the grounds with its first Expression of Interest draw for the immigration candidates with work experience in the In- demand occupation.

The updated work experience on the list is a requisite for both SINP’s Express Entry and Occupation In- Demand sub- categories. In any of the sub- categories, a job offer is not required.

An Express Entry candidate must register a separate Expression of Interest in order to be eligible for Saskatchewan with the SINP.

Eligible candidates in the SINP’s EOI system are awarded a score out of 100 based on factors such as education, skilled work experience, age and proficiency in English or French. A candidate’s connections to Saskatchewan are also awarded points.

The newly revised list comprises of 20 occupations, which includes Computer Programmers and Interactive Media Developers.
